When should I visit a chiropodist?
Often people wait until something hurts before they book an appointment, but you don’t have to wait to book an appointment. It can be highly beneficial to get the jump on your footcare by getting in touch before problems with your feet worsen.

If you already have some problems with your feet, get in touch right away so we can take care of them immediately. We would highly recommend you booking a visit if you notice:
• Hard skin or corns developing
• Discomfort while walking or from wearing shoes
• Thickened or strange coloured nails
• Persistent foot odour or infections
• Ingrown or painful toenails or swelling
• Cracked heals or dry flaky skin

It’s important to visit a qualified chiropodist if you have difficulty reaching your feet or if you have diabetes or circulatory problems as all of these can have a large effect on your foot health

What should I expect during a general footcare visit?
We aim to make your chiropody visits as comfortable and stress-free as possible. We take our time with each appointment to make sure there is plenty of time to assess your feet properly, listen to all of your concerns and provide the correct treatment for you.

Generally, a visit to the clinic will include:
• Foot consultation – we will discuss your current situation and any concerns or symptoms you might have.
• Foot assessment – a thorough examination of your feet to identify the problems or potential concerns.
• Treatment – Corns, calluses, trimming and shaping toenails and many other general foot problems can be treated right away.
• Aftercare advice – We will give you personalised guidance and recommendations to make sure your feet stay as healthy as possible.

Book an appointment now or give our friendly staff a call so we can get you confidently back on your feet today.
