Nail surgery is an effective treatment for persistent or recurring ingrown toenails. It is typically recommended when conservative treatment has not resolved the problem.
What Does Treatment Involve
The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic to ensure the toe is fully numb.
The affected part of the nail is removed, and a chemical may be applied to prevent the problem from returning.
The procedure usually takes around 45-60 minutes.

What Happens After Treatment
